Yellow Gentian – Gentiana lutea
Yellow Gentian is perennial herb with strong stem, up to 1.5 m. high.
The leaves are oval and top-pointed and arranged opposite one another. Yellow gentian’s root is very developed; flowers are yellow; it grows at higher altitude, mostly on dry places. Root of the yellow gentian are used for improving apetite, lowering high temperature, anorexia; it also increases the red blood cells. The healing properties of this herb are exclusively in the root that is also used for the recovery of the organism and stomach diseases.
